Let's clarify what packaging recycling really looks like

We are inviting experts from industry and researchers working with recycling in Sweden to help us clarify the structure and processes.

We are looking deeper in to the statistics and what they mean, as well as what the legislation and regulations are expected to look like in the future. We will also get an understanding of how different types of packaging are recycled.

Warm welcome to the fempack event in April, we are really looking forward to continue the discussions from last fempack to further understand how we can transform the packaging value chain to be more circular ♻️😃

Cirkularity - The Experience

Fiskeby Board produces board of 100% recycled fibers. The company recycles 70% of Sweden's collected paper and cardboard packaging each year. In its production Fiskeby Board converts the energy in the waste material that can not be recycled. This is achieved through an efficient combustion for steam and electricity that is then used in the manufacturing process. The company also generates biogas from wastewater treatment steps. The production is based on a conscious circular energy and recycling.
